Why choose therapy with Dylan?

Dylan Cimbura-Hernandez
LMFT #120829
You are interested in examining how and why you relate to the world the way you do and you are seeking to make some changes that make life a bit easier for yourself.
Life is tough, but having someone to listen helps. Together we can take a look at your current challenges and explore ways to find you some relief. It is likely that seeking a deeper awareness of your past can help make life a little easier now and lead to you thriving in the future.
You are feeling anxious, overwhelmed and struggle to ask for help.
I typically help clients with relational issues, depression, anxiety, life transitions and childhood trauma.
You are seeking a therapist who is an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community.
Seeking a therapist who is an ally can often be a healing experience for clients who struggle to find support from cis-hetero people in their lives. I focused on LGBTQIA+ affirmative studies during my time in graduate school.
You and your partner are seeking support.
I work with couples who are looking to fine tune their communication skills by using the Gottman method. I have a special interest in working with couples who are both or one part therapist.
You are a therapist seeking therapy.
Behind every great therapist is another great therapist! I am experienced and enjoy working with other therapists.
You are looking for a therapist who understands your cultural experience.
My professional experience has allowed me to work with a diverse range of people encountering many different challenges. I am a latinx therapist who passes as white and recognizes the privilege that comes with that.

Good Faith Estimate Statement: You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. The Estimate must be furnished within one business day of scheduling a service to be provided in three business days, or within three business days of scheduling a service to be provided in at least 10 business days. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit http://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
