Why choose therapy with
Dylan Cimbura-Hernandez
I take joy in working with individuals who are seeking a deeper awareness. My goal is to
guide you through what may feel like the overwhelming task of healing. Deciding to start therapy can be a daunting process. Searching for the right therapist can be even more frustrating. I believe choosing the right person is pivotal to your personal growth. I strive to create trusting relationships with my clients that allow us to work together collaboratively through your journey. My approach to therapy is a mixture of psychodynamic, CBT and mindfulness. I am also well versed in feminist and LGBT affirmative psychotherapy. My style is gentle, but direct and with some humor. My professional experience has allowed me to work with a diverse range of people encountering challenges. I typically help those seeking therapy for things like women's issues, life transitions, relational issues, depression and anxiety. I have experience and enjoy working with adolescents, families and adults. For clients who are looking for a therapist who understands their cultural experience, I am a latinx therapist who recognizes she passes as white and the privilege that comes with that. If you feel like we may be a good fit, I look forward to hearing from you.
